More San Diego July 21-23, 2006

This past weekend my parents and I went down to San Diego, CA. It was my first plane trip (not bad for 8 weeks!) and it was a great time. We stayed at Jason and Sarah's (www.thewilkies.blogspot.com) and really enjoyed ourselves. The first night we met up with Melanie and John after Jason and Sarah picked us up at the airport. After meeting Melanie for a short visit, we went out to restaurant row in Carlsbad for some Mexican. I was a little cranky but we pushed on!! Sarah was kind enough to "entertain" me while Mom and Dad ate a complete dinner together w/o me keeping them hopping :) After dinner, we went home and chilled at the Wilkie residence. On Saturday it was off to the beach! A hot day in town but a great day on the water with the ocean breeze. It was here that I learned that I love the beach. I look forward to my folks taking me back again! On Sat night I pretty much passed out from exhaustion and my parents and the Wilkie's ate big steaks that they had grilled out in their backyard. The last day of the trip was Sunday. It was on this day we met up with Melanie for lunch. This was a great time because Mom was looking forward to hanging with Melanie and her dog, Dolly. We went over to the Hotel Del Coronado (another Mom favorite) with the Wilkie's before heading to the airport. Overall a great weekend. Please check out the pics on the two postings and enjoy!! July 4th!!

Everyday I get a little bit bigger and a little more active. My folks are really enjoying their time with me. Tonight will be my Mom's first night with me without my Dad and I am a little bit nervous for her. I will post more later.
